Summer Program

While the school year's the focus is highly academic, the summer program is more about fun and activities.

Your child will receive some academic review through daily circle time and the occasional review of numbers and letters. Bible lessons and memory verses continue to taught throughout the week. The lesson theme changes monthly. For example, your child will learn about transportation one month and then learn about space the next month. Each day, a different aspect of the theme is talked about with related arts and crafts and or activities taking place afterward.

Plenty of time will be spent enjoying the warm summer weather outside. Your child will even get to have the occasional picnic by eating snack outside instead of inside. One day a week your child will need to bring swimwear! There will be a sprinkler set up to allow your child the chance to get involved in waterplay. Your child will also have the opportunity to help grow a vegetable.

Meals and nap time are still provided, just like they are during the school year.
